Well you’ve probably read the news about the wildly successful Pemberton Festival by now….It was fan#42!’ntastic. We had an amazing time despite the traffic that plugged the roads in and around the festival. The site was perfect had lots of room and every stage was accessible up real close.
By the way, the picture on your post is actually of Whistler which is 20 minutes down the road from Spud Valley (Pemberton). NIN rules, The Lips were limp, Coldplay reminded me of Qualude days (but they actually were great), Jay-Z seemed out of sync with the lineup but really won the masses over, The Tragically Hip were the first to really get the joint rippin and Black Mtn from Vancouver really surprised us how good they were.

yeah, I missed Sled last year, but I’m not missing anything this year.
Any word on that Virgin Music Festival??

This almost looks better (to me) than Sasquatch, with the overlaps giving this one the slight edge.

Sled Island fest lineup (in Calgary) is being released next week (pretty sure I am playing it again). This year is supposed to be “epic” – whatever that means.
